Hi Hauters!

January has now come and gone (has this felt like the longest month ever to anyone else??), so I thought I'd round up a list of my "bests." Most of these are beauty/self-care focused, since it is, what I like to call, hibernation season. The entire purpose of hibernation season, after all, is to perfect your routine so you can take the rest of the year by storm. At least, that's the excuse I use to justify staying home and spending $$$ on products I don't need. So, without further adieu, here are my Bests of January:

  • Tony Bianco Boots

    • At the top of the list are my Tony Bianco boots. Chances are if you saw me out this month, I was wearing these boots. They are stylish, sleek, square-toed, and COMFORTABLE. If you know me, you know I have the absolute lowest pain tolerance of anyone I've ever met. That's why I'm so excited to confirm that these are sooo comfortable! They also have a 3-inch heel, which I have found to be the perfect height for both day and night. TBH I used to be so self-conscious of my height when wearing heels but now I could literally not care less. If you saw me in Vegas wearing 4-inch heels every night, hell yeah you did. But I digress- to all my fellow tall girls, this is your sign to wear the shoes. Specifically, these shoes. Life becomes infinitely better when you do.

  • Philosophy Body Wash

    • This past year I started changing my body wash with the seasons, and I truly believe it has made my quality of life better. Philosophy's Fresh Cream Cashmere is my fall/winter scent (I use the Amazing Grace scent in the spring/summer) and every time I hop out of the shower I feel so warm, cozy, and luxurious. What more could a girl ask for?

  • The Color Pink

    • Here me out here: I've always been a pink girl, but this past month I have realllyyyy been a pink girl. From makeup to clothes, to home decor, to accessories, I always find myself gravitating toward this color. It makes me feel girly, confident, happy, beautiful, ... the list goes on! Listed below are some of my top pink picks and purchases of the month. Try saying that five times fast.

  • Charlotte Tilbury The Beautyverse Palette

    • Sparkles are a neutral... at least in my book! The Beautyverse Palette from Charlotte Tilbury is "a nine-pan palette with soft-focus veils of matte color, shimmering foil finishes, and duo-chrome pearls that reflect the light." I have been swiping the sparkly shades over my normal eyeshadow base and it instantly levels up every look. Plus, I've been matching the sparkle colors to my outfits and it adds a certain je ne sais quoi if I do say so myself.

  • Osea Body Oil

    • My skin naturally gets pretty dull in the winter, so I purchased this at the beginning of the month after seeing a couple of girls rave about it. After I get out of the shower, I lather this all across my damp skin and put my new favorite robe on while it dries. You do have to be a tad conscious of wearing either pants or a long-sleeved shirt to bed so the oil doesn't get everywhere, but I wake up with instantly glowy, soft, buttery skin. It is a Haute-approved quick-fix overnight miracle product.

  • SKIMS Underwear

    • This needs no explanation. IYKYK.

  • These Socks

    • These are my go-to socks that I wear with loafers, boots, tennis shoes, and for at-home general lounging. They are comfortable, have the perfect thickness, and have the ideal height. Plus, when you buy this pack of 8, it doesn't matter if a few get lost in the wash! 10/10.

  • Youtube Workout Videos

    • I have not paid for a gym/workout class membership since college. This started for no reason in particular other than that I moved to Dallas and simply didn't take the time to find a new studio. What's my secret you ask? At-home YouTube Pilates videos! Move With Nicole, is my favorite instructor, and I do her 20-30min classes around 3-5 times per week, right in my living room. I know not all bodies respond well to low-impact workouts, but I have found myself more toned, lean, and stronger than ever.

  • Football (More Specifically, Travis Kelce)

    • Hahahhaha rounding it out here on an off-brand note. Call it the Taylor Swift effect, but this past month I have turned on and checked the score of more football games on my own accord than I think I ever have in my entire life. Might I add, it's the best time to become a football fan because it's playoff season. And while I still stick to only watching key snippets of the big Chiefs games, progress is progress. Who knew football could be this exciting!

And that's a wrap for this post! Thanks so much for taking the time to read it- comment below your January favorites!

xoxo,

Hannah
